How it all started
On one of our first dates, Ása rented a camper van and took Leo for a road trip around Iceland. Leo was naturally blown away by the incredible nature and the rest is history.
Ever since then it’s been a dream of ours to invite our friends for an adventure and show them the beauty of our home country.
After the first Covid wave in 2020 we found our opportunity and launched the first event. 25 friends from 11 different countries joined us and for everyone involved this was by far the best week of the year.
It became very clear to us that this experience was something special and we decided to repeat the success for summer 2021!
I don’t think I can say anything that has not been said yet. It has been epic and thank you all for welcoming a non-adventure girl like me with open arms – I can now say that I love it. You are all amazing and I hope to see you all again soon somewhere in the world. You are all more than welcome to London or Copenhagen at any time. Lets do a trip soon again 😍
Mathilde
Deeply grateful to all of you for burning so brightly, and choosing your path and people over basically anything else that’s out there at the moment. Honoured to call you all my friends. Triple double that for Ása & Leo

This is what makes us unique
Leo – Event & Experience Designer
Since Leo launched The Ski Week in 2013, hosting events is more or less the only thing he has been doing. Be it on sail yachts in the arctic, private islands in Croatia or the desert of Oman. Leo always creates something exceptional and his friends have learned to show up when he invites them for an adventure.
Ása – Photographer & Iceland Expert
As a nature photographer, Ása has spent the last 5 years traveling around Iceland full-time and capturing its beauty. Follow her around and she’ll take you to the most magical places and not unlikely a few secret hot springs too!

We built a van together!
In 2019 we took the step and bought our own Sprinter van. From an empty shell we built our dream home on wheels. It took a lot of work but now she’s finally ready and we are very proud of the result.

Van is our favorite way to travel in Iceland
If you want to explore Iceland, there’s no better way to do it than with a home on four wheels.
There’s so much to see and both make your life easy and it’s a lot of fun. Always having your home with you, a kitchen to cook food in or a bed for a nap is just amazing.
There’s no better feeling than stopping for lunch next to a waterfall and then continuing exploring.
