CampEasy campers are the only ones that come with Wool Insulation, and then a carpet layer on almost all metal parts inside the cabin. This is drastically different from using a camper without insulation, as leaning up against cold metals is not the most comfortable experience.
We have taken multiple steps to ensure good heating. We include a third battery in the camper, insulate using wool, snowstorm adjust for heater intake, and take other steps to ensure warmth even during the coldest months.
Manual Transmission and the most economical engine, plus a small frame that takes on little wind makes for an economical road trip.
The Easy Ranger has the manual transmission and an economical Diesel engine with good mileage. Combine that with our fuel discount card, and you go far on your fuel budget.
The 2000 Watt Webasto heating system has no problems keeping your insulated camper toasty in any conditions.
An itinerary builder with highlighted material from “The Icelandic Roadmap” creators, mixed in with CampEasy recommended activities, Points Of Interest and campsites. Choose from our pre-made templates or start from scratch.
On-screen, you get live warnings from the Icelandic Search and Rescue network (ICE-SAR) and weather alerts and warnings from CampEasy, all based on your location. You also get easy access to weather and road monitoring.
In your tablet, you have built-in turn-by-turn navigation, an itinerary builder, suggested nearby attractions, ticket and entrance booking engine for most activities around Iceland, a direct line of communication with CampEasy, manuals, and much more.

Second time using CampEasy, didn’t think they could get any better but they did. Yoanne looked after us amazingly. Also love the new tablets you get with the vehicle that provide internet, weather and road updates as well as some incredibly comprehensive guides to local attractions. We’ve just finished our 8 day tour of the Iceland ring road in a Camp Easy van and we had a fantastic time! We hired the ‘easy small’ manual transmission van for 2 adults and we found it to be just the right size for the amount of time we had. The van itself ran smoothly with no concerns throughout the trip and it handled the gravel roads well too. The layout inside was much more practical than that of other rental companies as, when we researched different companies for our trip, we found that Camp Easy were one of the only companies with the sofa that transformed into the bed, opposed to having a bed permanently in place. Nice road trip I had in Iceland with campervan from CampEasy. I was first received in their office by Eggert that was very polite and helpful. The trip was with no incidents at all. I have to recognize that I expected more cold in Iceland in these days, but it was ok. I just explored the south of the island, one way and the way back. But in ten days I have not had any free day at all. I hope the little light during day that contributed to be totally occupied with the visits and road driving. Finally the man who attended me at the end of the trip was Yoann and it was fantastic to speak Spanish with him. And that was all, I had the opportunity to take great pictures during my stay in the island and I could see a little northern lights so, the objective of the trip was totally accomplished. We booked a Camper for 9 days and CampEasy made everything really easy. During the booking process they helped us in every doubt we got, and when we arrived to Iceland the staff was really nice and helpful. They provided all the services we needed and the camper was clean and very completed for this kind of routes. Their navigation system allows you to travel safely and being connected with them at any time, furthermore it has lots of necessary information (road conditions, weather and aurora forecast, campsites…).
