The self-service was very easy and the camper was equipped with everything to make comfortable the journey. We didn’t use all the gas for stoves that we had ordered and they refunded us. You can spend the night in the parking if the office, where you can find a toilet and coffee for free, which can be perfect for the first or last night.

Friendly and knowledgeable. Our camper was in great shape, fairly new, clean and everything worked well. If I’m fortunate enough to return to Iceland in the future, I will be renting from Camp Easy!
This was the first time we rented a campervan and it was great! I chose Campeasy because all of the equipment was already included in the price and because they had really good reviews and we weren’t disappointed. The check in process was easy, all the staff were nice, easygoing and fun. The furniture in the van was very well built and easy to use. The heater was good too, and the batteries held enough power so we could use the heater all night long. Even when we got thoroughly wet it dried our clothes soon enough. We had very comfortable 12 days in our little van and totally recommend this company to anyone considering a trip to Iceland!
We had a great time in our van from Camp Easy! The camper, the communication and the entire process was flawless. If we come back we will definitely use CampEasy again! Thank you for allowing us to see your beautiful country! ♥️🩵
Excellent service from start to finish. We loved our Easy Auto – it was perfect for the roads of Iceland and for our trip! Thank you!
It was for us our first van trip and certainly not the last! And this is partly thanks to Camp Easy! The layout of the van is practical and well thought out. The staff is efficient and the follow-up is great! This is certainly not our last vacation in Iceland!Tristan & Charlène
The car was perfect for a road trip through Iceland. table and benches for sitting in the back that you could modify to a bed. The heating worked perfectly, as well as the fridge and water. There was enough room to store everything. Well equipped and thought through! Definitely would rent a camper again with CampEasy.
Everything was perfect and we enjoyed our trip with the EasyAuto very much!! The car has everything you need. The process of the pickup and drop off was very smooth and the shuttle bus service provided by CampEasy was very helpful!
Best Camper to travel around iceland. It was our first camper experience and it was great. It had everything we needed on our 3 week trip around iceland. Can‘t recommend it enough!
This is the first experience in a van and we come back enchanted the Van is very comfortable, very well equippedthe road trip proposed for two weeks is complete and the team responds quickly to our needsWe recommend this rental agency
Excellent experience with this company. And everything was as advertised and rules and conditions were very clearly explained before leaving the parking lot. This was our first time in Iceland, and it was the best way to see the country as we had freedom to decide where to go and when. When we had questions, the chat feature worked very well and we could be as in touch or not, with the staff. Funding weather and road conditions were also explained very clearly. I never felt “lost”. They’re working on fixing some of their technical glitches with the tablet, so they refunded a portion of a rental fee because we had to use our phone for that purpose this time. But when they get that fixed, it’ll be even better. Most importantly, the staff is very helpful, communicative and responsive. We had a tight airport connection after drop off and they were excellent in taking care of us. Highly recommend this company.Szymon and Natalie were amazing. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We rented the Easy Auto 3 person van. It’s a camper van so I fully expected tight spaces, breaking down and setting up the bed space, the kitchen space etc. It’s like camping…in a van… it was well equipped and everything worked well. Only big disappointment with Iceland is their level of service industry. The campsites, just about every one of them, fell way short of expectation (I’m used to New Zealand). But that has nothing to do with Camp Easy. Hopefully with the amount of tourism, they will catch up with including hot water and decent number of facilities at their highly rated, and not really very cheap campsites. They were all very clean, just very very deficient. And, I wasn’t prepared for how expensive this country is. Apparently third highest in the world.Overall Camp Easy was the best choice. And camping was the best choice for us.
The two of us rented an Easy Auto “3-person” van. It’s a good size for a pair of people. We did need to take down the bed every morning, because there is very limited space when it’s set up. It is also a bit smaller to drive than the next size up, though. The heater lasted through the night without problems. Especially with the duvets, we slept comfortably warm, plus the pillows were generous. The downside of the bedding is they it took up a lot of room during the day. Other companies have a lot of “we were so cold” reviews, though, so we think it was worth it!The tablet is definitely useful. Also, using its data access as a hotspot meant I could get cheaper Icelandic eSIM cards for our phones, with lower data amounts. We used the tablet for information about the van and related info, for weather conditions, and for communication about an issue we had. Using its chat feature to talk with CampEasy,, we got prompt, friendly and thorough help. The only sad things were that the tablet’s navigation feature was not working, and it wouldn’t show the map of road conditions on the government site (even though its interface has a special link to make that map easy to find). We were able to use our phones for both, but those two things in particular would have been nice to do with the tablet. I almost took off a star for this, but we wouldn’t have had it at all with other companies, so I didn’t.Some recommendations:While the USB-A/USB-C outlets at the back of the van worked well, the USB-C outlets in the front didn’t charge. (The van’s description doesn’t say they do.) We brought our inverter, which plugs into the 12v car outlet and has both regular and USB power outlets, from home. This meant we had a North American power source and USB charging during the day. If you don’t bring one, I recommend renting theirs (which has local outlets and voltage). We got an extra gas canister, but campsite facilities were good enough that we didn’t use the kitchen at all. We also didn’t plan to cook much—we did a combo of add-boiling-water camp food and restaurants. Some of the campgrounds were busy enough that if we had real cooking we might have used our kitchen indeed of waiting for other people. Since we didn’t use the extra canister, CampEasy refunded the fee. So it was nice to get, just in case.Take road conditions seriously, and remember that flexibility is one nice thing about renting a campervan. We stopped early on a day with yellow warnings (they’ll tell you about these when you pick up the van), and when we kept going the next day we saw an RV that had been blown onto its side. Our original plan had only 2.5-3.5 hours of daily driving between campsites, not including side trips, so we could make up the mileage without problems. On that day we stopped at a tiny little town (the public pool wasn’t even open on Sundays), and were going to write off the afternoon and spend it in the van reading or something, but we decided to check it out before settling in. We ended up having a great walk in beautiful woods with a fun waterfall, and were glad we’d stopped there. (The town’s name ends with Klaustur.)One sightseeing recommendation: if you’re on the south side and can work it in, see the ice lagoons! They don’t get as much press. The first one is on a gravel road with enough potholes and big water puddles that we pulled over partway there and walked the rest of the way (we saw other people drive the whole way). It was still worth it.
We had such a great experience travelling the ring road and golden circle in our camp easy Camper Van . The Campervan was a smooth ride it handled well and was nice and clean . We had such a great time and it was an easy drop off and pick up .
I am happy about the camper I rented. The only thing is the tablet we had didnt take the cold weather very well and made us worry a little. All in all everything was good with the price. I would recommend camp easy to my friends and families.
Travelled the South of Iceland with Easy Auto and it was incredible! Truly gave us the freedom to see what we wanted! Extremely grateful we bought the Zero Risk Insurance because throughout our trip a rock hit our windshield – returning the camper came with 0 hassle! Extremely satisfied! Thank you!
