1 inverter to charge your phone, camera, computer or other battery powered electronics. Changes 12V to 220V. Simply plug into the cigarette lighter in the car and charge your devices. Note: Only for battery powered equipment. If your electronic doesn’t have a battery, there’s a good chance it’s 220V and cannot be used powered with the inverter. Can not power Dryers, Curling irons or anything that draws more than 200W. Trying to plug any electronic device that draws more than 300W will damage the inverter and possibly the electrical system in the campervan.

Good quality Porta Potty / Camping Toilet for rent with your camper. The choice is yours, but we only recommend this extra for certain scenarios: Long Highland Excursions where facilities are limited. Winter Camping Trips The toilet takes up space and isn’t necessary for summer, and lowland (ring-road) trips. Iceland is full of swimming pools (world’s most per capita), and all campsites offer toilet facilities. In most cases, you are better off without it. Also, you must empty the tank before returning the toilet. A 20.000 ISK fine is billed for not taking care of the toilet before returning.

A gas canister for the stove that comes with the camper On average, the canister will last you 2-3 hours in full use. Recommended 1 canister for every 3-4 days. The usage varies, though. So we offer customers to return any canisters that still have the seal unbroken for a full refund. We recommend taking extra, especially if you are going out for 8 days or more.

Veiðikortið – “The Fishing card” – is a very economic choice for fishermen and travelers. With Veiðikortið you can fish almost as much as you like in 36 lakes all around Iceland. Only a few lakes are open all year, but most of the lakes stay open between May 1st and September 30th.
